An e-mail from Trish Ellis, manager of Malvina Major Lifestyle Village after we performed at their Village:-

An e-mail from Wilton Bowling Club after we performed at their club:-

The Wilton Bowling Club and its members wish to congratulate you, Debbie and your support people for a fantastic show put on for us last saturday. The format was great and the manner in which you dressed up the stage was outstanding.

The selection of your material was pitched just right for our age group and on many a time looking around the room I witnessed a number of people with hankies out dabbing their eyes due to tears from laughing at the humourous monologues.

Once again thanks for the show and I have been approached already with requests for you to visit us again with promises of packing the hall out next time.

Regards,

John Gray
President

A letter from Tairua Probus after we performed at their fund raising Function:-
Jim and Debbie

What a great night !! Many many thanks for a most varied and entertaining show. I have had lots of people comment on how much they enjoyed it.
I will be telling the (Probus) Committee that a cheque for just over $1000 can be sent to the Tairua Fire Brigade towards the First Response Van.

Many thanks once again.

A letter from West Lynn Garden Group after we performed at their Mid Winter Christmas Function:-
On behalf of the West Lynn garden group we would like to thank you both for the wonderful performance you gave at our Mid Winter Christmas Party.
Our members were absolutely delighted from the moment they entered the room and saw the stage in readiness. It created a very festive atmosphere.

When Debbie entered for her first number all adorned in feathers and glittering costume the reaction was WOW!!! better than Priscilla Queen of the desert.

You certainly gave us a great show complete with your wonderful Elvis impersonation.

Thank you once again..we all left with a warm glow.

An email from Taupo RSA Ladies Group after Pukekohe Show:-
Good Morning Debbie and Jim
Thank you so much for the fantastic day the RSA Women's section from Taupo had yesterday. All of the ladies thoroughly enjoyed themselves and are all looking forward to another show here in Taupo.

A very successful Show at Mt Maunganui RSA....The Manager wrote on the Mt RSA website:-
On June 5th we were lucky enough to be the first venue to show the New "Debbie Dorday & Jim Joll Show".
Once again the SOLD OUT sign went out, days before the show day.
There were three hours of rapid costume changes and many witty stories and songs to sing to. This show was completely different from their previous shows and really had to be seen to be believed, especially Debbie's costumes.

As usual Mike (Debbie's husband) did a great job with the lights and sound system, besides doing a turn on the stage. Also involved in the show this time around, was The Dresser (Carol), who has been the wardrobe mistress for the last 5 years.

Played on the Sunday afternoon it was thoroughly enjoyed by 400 patrons, many of them asking where the show played next. The compliments were many and there were not any negative comments at all.

Congratulations Debbie - Jim - Mike & Carol for a great show that can be recommended to any other club for future entertainment

Franklin Businesswomen wrote to us after a very successful fundraising concert at Pukekohe Town hall. Friday 24th August

.....Debbie Jim and Team

Many thanks to you for a fantastic night last Friday. I have had lots of positive comments. When my husband says it was a good show that is probably the best compliment to receive as this type of thing is not normally his scene. We raised over $11,000 so that also was a great thrill.

Many thanks again

Regards Gail

Ashburton RSA ...one of the many clubs on our Sth Island tour wrote in their magazine:....
Sunday 11th June
.....their program was hilarious and so polished, I laughed 'till I cried, so to speak.
Their combined comedic performance was "spot on". Debbie had a costume change for every number and skit, feathers galore and guys you sure missed something. We are looking forward to Jim and Debbie returning to the RSA in the near future and strongly encourage others not to miss out on their performance next time.
